Niffy 1^st Team 2 - Niffy 2^nd Team 6 (26-05-02)

Niffy had their first game since the close season, and after predictions from 1^st teamers of score-lines of 4 or 5 goals to nil the first team had to eat humble pie after this historic win for the reserves. Goals from Brad Strong, Kev Dunphy, Chris Myers, Scott Clarke, Chris Clarke & Leon Strong led to the drubbing. Consolation goals for the first team came in the form of two controversial penalties from Pete Laird.

Niffy Over 30's 4 - Niffy Under 30's 8 (09-06-02)

Niffy decided to have a game of young uns v old uns to keep the depleting fitness levels up. Goals from Brad Strong (3), Scott Clarke, Ian Deacon, Joe Spreckly, Mark Walters & Geoff Laird clinched it for the young whipper snappers. Meanwhile goals for the pensioners came from Neil Brett (2), Kev Dunphy & Chris Myers.

Niffy 1^st Team 5 - Niffy 2^nd Team 3 (12-07-02)

Niffy's first pre-season game, and after a beating from the reserves last time around 1^st teamers were having none of it this time, with Shearer (Ian Deacon) leading the show with 4 goals, and new-boy John Malone also hit the target. The ressies goals came from Brad Strong (2) and Chris Myers.

Niffy 1^st Team 4 - Royal Sports 2 (28-07-02)

Niffy 1^st team played their first friendly, winning the game after an improved second half, Brad strong bagging 2, Mark Walton and James Weaver also found the net.

Niffy 1^st Team 3 - Shakespeare 0 (04-08-02)

Another friendly saw yet another win for the 1^st team with goals from Mark Walton, Dave Church and Ian Deacon.

Niffy 2^nd Team 3 - The George 2 (04-08-02)

Niffy 2^nd team played their first friendly, but only won the game with a below par performance, goals came from Paul Bloxham, Carl James and Chris Myers.

Niffy 2^nd Team 1 – King Bill 3 (15-08-02)

A good start by niffy but lost the plot second half, a consolation goal for Ryan Stephens.

Niffy 2^nd Team 8 - The George 3 (18-08-02)

Niffy 2^nd won this friendly, turning up with only 10 men, and a loaned player from the opposition, and a good solid second half performance sealing the win for the ressies. Lee Wallace (3), Simon Jones (2), Will Wilson (2), There Player (1), all on the score sheet.

Niffy 1^st Team 4 – City Cleansing 1 (18-08-02)

A below strength first team playing the whole game with only 10 men, another good win, goals from Ian Deacon (2), Brad Strong and Mark Walton.

Niffy 2^nd Team 4 - The Firs 1 (21-08-02)

Niffy 2^nd team best performance yet, although there should have been more goals but a good win with goals from Pete Laird, Wayne Downes, Dave and Glen Jeffery.

Niffy 1^st Team 8 - The Queen 5 (25-08-02)

A below strength first team, strolled to yet another win to take the first team unbeaten in all pre-season friendlies, goals from Brad Strong (4), Ian Deacon (3) and Simon Jones.
